Pascal Mental has been an active member of Lyon’s electronic scene over the past 10 years. Deeply tied to oldschool trance, free tekno and acid in all its forms, he explores a whole range of varied influences which act out of a flawless curiosity. Franco-Italian producer and DJ based in Paris, Tewo Rina explores the intersections between psychedelic trance and hypnotic techno, shaping subtle and emotionally driven sonic journeys. WTP is a project of Naarm (Australia) based DJ and producer Miles Mceldowney, who has been crafting beautiful music under the WTP alias, with releases on labels like The Space Between Us and Companion, showcasing a sound that's both deeply emotive and undeniably groovy. Okouru is a Paris-born, Berlin-based music selector known for his versatile sound, which spans across a wide spectrum of electronic music — from ‘90s and ‘00s trance, progressive trance, and techno. In 2022, he made his debut at Fabric London, invited by Nicola Cruz. The following year, he debuted at Berghain/Saüle, and more recently played at Macadam in Nantes, France. This episode of Stardust mix series features Wednesday, a London based DJ who has become a core member of the city's growing trance community. After her solo debut at SUB:SYSTEM in late 2021, she has been captivating dancefloors with her unique blend of minimal psy, tribal prog, and techno. Earning her a residency at SUB:SYSTEM and performances at respected events in London, Berlin, Yerevan, Lisbon, and Nantes. Operating out of Sydney/Eora, DJ Zoik is the co-founder of record label and warehouse party series, Headnoiz and the intimate three-day bush gathering, Outsider Festival. The seventeenth episode of our mix series showcases Philipp Drube, who’s DJing career started with his first gig in Hamburg 2011. After a couple of years he moved to Berlin where he co-founded Space Trax label with Frank Heise. His meticulous and hand-tailored sets focus on fast-paced techno and different faces of trance. A blend which earns him appearances at Berlin’s most established clubs as well as several worldwide bookings. His true introduction to the dynamic beat of Tbilisi's electronic music scene occurred in 2017, a pivotal moment that sparked his passion for gathering music and propelled him into the world of DJing. His performances craft dynamic journeys, weaving intricate musical storylines that resonate with emotion. For the 12th edition of our mix series we feature a mix from Copenhagen based artist Schacke. Schacke is half Danish half South Korean musician who has been producing and playing sounds of a large variety of different styles since their early teens. As one of the original members of the Fast Forward collective and agency, Schacke has played a significant role in shaping and defining what has become known as the “Copenhagen Techno Sound”. Schacke draws inspiration from a wide range of different genres, making genre-bending fusions using a mixture of unlikely sources. With the combination of hard-hitting beats and rolling baselines their mixes are always bound together with precise execution of delicately layered textures, making Schacke’s sound distinctly recognizable yet strangely unpredictable.
